SIX x ATE Template
Who doesn’t love food and art? We’ve decided to share how we ran our program SIX x ATE, an art and food lecture series that revolved around central themes each season. We ran the program from 2012-2021, making it a flagship program in the building and stabilizing of CDCP as a business. Through SIX x ATE we networked with a plethora of artists, businesses, and institutions who we still work with today, helping us shape our understanding of the regional arts economy and community.
This packet serves as a one-stop-shop for everything we’ve learned in the process, and everything you need to make your own program. This isn’t by any means a foolproof model that can be applied to every idea, but we hope it offers you guidance with your new community ventures. Feel free to play around with the content of this guide to build the structure that suits your project.
There are many factors that will determine how this project model will work for you: if this is a solo or organizational effort, how public or private you want this project to be, and how long you’re projected to keep this going. Whatever ideas or visions you may have, we hope this packet helps you get the ball rolling towards your vision for community-centered arts programming.
