Resources
CDCP has a colorful history of programs and projects that we’ve experimented with as we plotted our way through Pittsburgh’s arts landscape. We got our start with SIX x ATE, a roving dinner and arts lecture series that became a well-oiled ship over its lifetime (2012–2021, RIP). We also operated a CSA (Community Supported Art—our riff on an agricultural CSA), a shop-front window residency, and a host of other programs, one-offs, and pop-ups that together make up the foundation of our decade-long experiment in sustaining a for-profit, socially minded arts business that builds arts economy (see the full archives of our projects here).
We believe that sharing our resources and experience supports our mission to grow a thriving creative community and encourage a sustainable economy for artists and arts workers. Taking inspiration from Springboard for the Arts’ Toolkits for Change, we’ve created a series of toolkits to serve you on your own programmatic journeys. These include everything from sample budgets to marketing tips to contract templates (and many other goodies).
We hope these resources and tools help you start an event series or produce a pop-up project to engage your own community!
